Student entrance

Home page and features in the Student entrance.

There are currently two functions, Calendar and Events. If the user don’t have any access to those services, a ”Welcome to Edlevo” message is shown. 

Calendar

The calendar shows all schedule activities for you who are logged in. When you enter the entrance the schedule shows today’s activities. Using the date selector, you can navigate between dates to see past or upcoming schedule activities.

Click on View calendar to view school schedule for the full week.

Events

The event flow shows all the events that have been posted that are relevant to you. Swipe or click to archive read events.

Events – News

As a student, you can access News via the Event feed on the homepage or via Menu – News.

Students will receive a new event in the event feed when new news are published. When you click the View News link, you will be redirected to the News module to view the news content.

If you go from the menu to the News module there are 2 tabs Active and Inactive. Here is also the number of unread news items, such as Active (1).

• Active – Means that the news is valid. For example, the teacher has set the news to be valid for week 37.
• Inactive – When the date for a news such as week 37 has passed, it is automatically placed under that tab.

The latest news is always displayed at the top. Unread news will appear with a blue dot and bold text in the news list. What you see in the news list is the headline of the news and who sent the news.

Click on the news to open it.

When you have opened a news item you can click “Show details” to see more detail information about the publish news. You as a student also have the option of Downloading attachments by either clicking on the attachment or choosing Download all if there is more than 1 file.
