Accessibility (Edlevo App)

The services provided by your municipality in the Edlevo App have been designed in compliance with the EU Directive (2016/2102) and corresponding local laws in Finland and Sweden.

If you experience difficulties using the app or related services and notice an accessibility issue, please contact your municipality’s early childhood education department and report the problem. Describe in as much detail as possible what you believe does not meet accessibility requirements. The municipality will send us an error report, and we will address the issue as soon as possible.

Right now known issues exists as below list.

Problems when using with impaired vision

  • Contrasts not always within approved values ​​when the app is running in so-called dark mode in IOS.
  • It is not possible to affect the size of text in iOS in some cases.
  • Tab focus and tab order are not always correct, which can be difficult for some users, for example if screen readers are used.
  • It happens that it is not possible to increase the distance between characters, words and lines.

Problems that may arise for other users with disabilities, e.g. cognitive or hearing impairment

  • Tab focus and tab order are not always correct, which can be difficult for some users, for example if voice control is used.
  • Some clickable surfaces are not of sufficient size.
  • It happens that text is in not in local language and is not marked with a language code even with English as the selected language.
  • It happens that some services do not respect the user’s settings, which means that it is not possible to use, for example, dark mode.
